Located just north of the Potter Heigham bridge, Bathurst is a spacious bungalow with two double bedrooms and one twin room. Bedding and towels are included.
The cottage boasts a large south facing partially covered sun deck area for watching the boats go by and 110ft river frontage for several people to fish at the same time. A four wheel barrow to help transport luggage and external fishing storage is also available at the cottage.
Bathurst features a comfortable open plan living room with picture windows looking out over the river and the open countryside beyond, and a well-fitted kitchen, including a microwave oven.
There is also an external shed for storing fishing equipment. This also includes a fridge for bait and washing machine facilities.
Bathurst is the first of the bungalows along the Hickling Riverbank, and is located less than 80m walk from the parking space. (Additional parking can be purchased from Lathams discount superstore just around the corner)
It is also located within easy access of the local amenities of Potter Heigham, including Lathams discount superstore, cafes, pub, takeaways and a Post Office.
The Broads villages of Wroxham and Horning are only a 20 minute drive away, and the North Norfolk coast is only a short drive.
This is the perfect location for fishing, walking, cycling and watching wildlife.
Please note that access to this property is by footpath or river only. Please note that the woodburner is not in use.
Pet Policy
For your well-behaved pet’s safety and the consideration of all guests, we do ask that dogs and their owners follow a few simple rules during their stay:
- Pets must not be left unattended in the holiday property.
- Pets are not permitted in bedrooms or on any furniture or soft furnishings. We would advise you to bring along a pet bed to make sure your four-legged family member is as comfy as you are while on holiday.
- Pets must be supervised at all times both inside and out of the property. Since most of our properties are close to open water frontage, and may not be fenced completely, pets should be kept on a lead outside at all times.
- Please clean up after your pet, both inside and outside of the property.
